Play Distribution Program – Audio File Submission

This form is for PGC members in good standing to submit audio files to be sold through PGC’s bookstore, the Canadian Play Outlet.

PGC will only accept files related to a play/musical/opera or other dramatic work. The submitted songs do not have to be the full songs (e.g. can be teasers to give potential producers a sense of what the music sounds like).

Multiple songs submitted for the same musical will be sold as a bundle.

Step 1: Upload Your Audio Files

Upload your audio file(s) using WeTransfer by going to this link (https://pgc.wetransfer.com/) or clicking on the WeTransfer button below.

All audio files for the same play/musical/other dramatic work should be submitted together as one form submission.

Step 2: Complete the following form

Once you have uploaded your file(s) through WeTransfer, please check the box below.(Required)
Please provide the name of the musical in which the provided songs are included.
For the purposes of copyright, it is required to credit all co-creators/co-owners of a written piece, including writers, performers, recording technicians, etc. Please provide the names of the creators of this piece and the function they performed, as well as your own role in the recording (e.g. performer(s), sound techician(s), composer(s), sound editor(s), writer(s), producer(s), librettist, etc.) [for multiple co-creators, please enter the information in this format: John Smith, Composer; Jane Doe, Performer; John Doe, Recording Technician].
Please provide contact information for all co-creators (emails preferred).
Please provide any information PGC, CPO customers, or producers should know about the songs.
Please upload written permission from all co-creators giving permission to sell the submitted file(s) through the Canadian Play Outlet, and identifying your agreed-upon royalty split. For the purposes of royalties, PGC considers all co-creators as equal owners unless the co-creators provide written proof of an alternate agreement. Please email orders@playwrightsguild.ca if you require a template of a co-creators agreement.
