“Write On!” – Playwriting Contest for Youth

Open to British Columbia youth ages 12-19.  Sponsored by Nanaimo Young People's Theatre.

Five short-listed plays will receive dramaturgical feedback from industry professionals as well as a reading at our summer "Park and Play" Festival in late August in Nanaimo B.C.

Free to enter.

Submissions may be plays, monologues, or musicals anywhere between 5-20 minutes long.  Plays be be written by one or more persons; however, all writers MUST be residents of  B.C. and under 19 years of age as of July 30, 2024.
