Hypatia-in-the-Woods – Holly House Residency (International)
Hypatia-in-the-Woods provides and maintains Holly House, a residential retreat center for women of all creative talents, in a serene environment free of the distractions of everyday life. They welcome applications for residencies from women in the arts – broadly defined to include visual, written, and performing arts, as well as other similar forms of creative expression – in entrepreneurship and in academic professions.
While in residence at Hypatia-in-the-Woods, we offer residents the opportunity to give a public reading, a book signing, showing of works, or appropriate venue for a performance. Residents are responsible for the cost of transport to Holly House, food, and other expenses of the trip.

NOTE: If you are chosen for a residency, you are responsible for your own transportation. Please note that Holly House is remote and not served by public transportation: residency applicants must be able to have a vehicle at their disposal while in residence.
Deadline: August 15, 2024 for residencies in April, May and June 2025;
November 1, 2024 for residencies in July, August, and September 2025.
