Description
Each month, during the school year, Cape Breton University will host an Artist-on-Campus to join its community of diverse students, scholars and artists. We welcome expressions of interest from artists working in any media, modality or genre who are interested in participating in our dynamic interdisciplinary campus community.
The CBU Artist-On-Campus committee encourages applications from Indigenous and racialized artists. In this innovative program, artists are on the CBU Campus for a 1 to 2 day term to share their creativity with diverse members of our campus. The idea is to have the artist doing their work as students, faculty, staff, visitors pass by and, hopefully, engage with the artist in some way while they work.
Expressions of Interest or questions can be sent to: todd_hiscock@cbu.ca
The successful candidates will be compensated according to CARFAC recommendations.
Expressions of Interest are accepted on an ongoing basis. EOIs shall include the following:
- a letter of interest, including a very brief overview of potential project ideas within the parameters outlined above.
- a current CV
