Lisa is an actor/playwright with an Acting Diploma from Studio 58 in Vancouver, where she toured children’s theatre, did play development workshops and performed modern dance. She was a singer/lyricist of original bands Against the Grain and Freedom Rains and recorded two albums. Lisa’s play, The Sorauren Book Club, received at Patron’s Pick Award at the 2022 Toronto Fringe. Lisa’s plays included: Window Treatment, The Toreador’s March and Sister Sophia Kicks the Habit. Lisa has acted in numerous commercials and web series, has a Masters of Integrated Arts (Athabasca U), a BA in Social Development Studies (U of Waterloo) and worked for 28 years as a nonprofit manager supporting newcomers. She is currently on leave from her role as Museum Administrator at Todmorden Mills Heritage Site and studying in the MA in Theatre, Dance and Performance at York University.
