Londos D’Arrigo
Londos D’Arrigo is a Canadian writer who, for over thirty years, wrote hard-hitting laughs for comedy icons Phyllis Diller, Lily Tomlin and Joan Rivers
Londos contributed many of the most frequently quoted lines from Rivers’ stage act and Tonight Show hosting stints. As well as working on Rivers’ Hollywood and New York-based talk shows, Londos accompanied the star on two tours of Australia and a 17-city tour of Great Britain. His comedic writing was integral to Rivers’ performances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, her critically acclaimed one-woman show presented in London’s West End and at the famed London Palladium. He co-scripted a one-hour television special, “An Audience With Joan Rivers” which aired on ITV.
His hit stage comedy, Spreading It Around received its World premiere in Atlanta, where it set box office records. Spreading It Around is published by Samuel French and is presently being performed to rave reviews in theaters across Canada and the U.S. along with his latest comedies, Harris Cashes Out and Bending the Truth.
Londos lives in Toronto, Canada.
