This is a staged reading of excerpts from William Lottering’s play In Between. The reading by Easy Street Players coincides with the current art show “Heart, Mind And Soul”. In Between takes place in a ‘conference room’ where four famous artists who died at different times in history must reach a conclusion about their lives. Michelangelo and Leonardo, two rivals from the Renaissance, meet Frida Kahlo of the 20th century and Aka Nono, a fictional artist in the 21st century. They suspect their capture is a secret project and their misunderstandings lead to amazement, insight and eventual harmony.
