Sharon Stearns

Sharon Stearns is playwright, actor, and theatre producer and has worked with theatre companies across Canada. She also works as a fiction writer and has written plays and documentaries for CBC Radio. Her short fiction has appeared in various literary magazines and anthologies. Playwright artist residencies include Theatre Passe Muraille, Prairie Theatre Exchange, Western Canada Theatre and the University of Regina. As artistic producer of Wishbone Theatre Productions since 2003, she is dedicated to producing new plays and musical events at theatre venues throughout B.C. She also teaches theatre and creative writing both privately and in B.C. schools through Artists-In-Education Programs.
