Annabel Griffiths Fitzsimmons

Annabel Griffiths Fitzsimmons grew up in Bermuda and England, finally settling in Canada, where she calls Toronto home. An accomplished theatre artist with 25+ years of international experience, Annabel is a playwright, creative collaborator, and facilitator/teacher. With her writing partners, Alison Lawrence and Mary Francis Moore, Annabel co-wrote the widely acclaimed play bittergirl (Scirocco Drama) and Bittergirl – the Musical, the book Bittergirl: Getting Over Getting Dumped (Penguin CDA/Penguin US/Distribuidora Brazil), Flush, and Synchronecessity. She has also written, developed, and produced numerous TYA and children’s plays, including The Gift and Feedback. She is a graduate of the English and Drama Program at Western University and the Theatre Arts: Performance program at Toronto Metropolitan University.
