Scott Douglas developed his chops writing commissioned plays for social justice organization and community and faith-based groups. His first professional production was The Harrowing at 25th Street Theatre in Saskatoon. Other plays include Undiscover’d Country, Treading Water, The Touring Test (winner of the Harry Rintoul Award for Best New Manitoba Play at the Winnipeg Fringe Festival), Maybe One?: A Theatrical History of the United Church of Canada, Lycanthropes of the Latter Twentieth Century, Glory Bound, Strange Angels, and Forgive/Forget (winner of the 2019 TheatreBC Canadian Playwriting Competition). He also works as an educator, dramaturge, editor, occasional animator, and armchair theologian. He lives in Winnipeg.
