Write Now! – DEADLINE: 2026/06/30

Infinithéâtre is calling out to young playwrights, ages 13 to 19.

They’re interested in discovering your writing and your unique voices; what inspires you, what fires you up, the questions and struggles you wish to examine through your writing. Open to participants from across Quebec, short-listed playwrights are provided mentoring and dramaturgical feedback from industry professionals to hone their skills, talent, and confidence. Short-listed plays will be offered a professional staged reading as part of Infinithéâtre’s annual Park ‘N Play Open-Air Play Reading Series featuring some of Montreal’s finest actors. A $500 cash prize will be awarded to the winning entry.

Plays, monologues, musicals, and other forms of writing are all welcomed.

Infinithéâtre is committed to mentoring and promoting the next generation of theatre artists in Quebec. There are no submission fees for this competition.

This year's submission deadline is June 30th, 11:59pm.
