Description
The Playwright in Residence position is designed to support an established writer in the development of their own work through financial compensation and in-kind support, with the Playwright in Residence also supporting our community of emerging writers through a creative development/mentorship initiative of their choosing, designed in consultation with Artistic Animateur Meghan Greeley. This initiative could consist of workshops, one-on-one dramaturgical sessions, etc.
The program is open to established playwrights with a history of public presentation. Special consideration will be given to playwrights with a background in community engagement and workshop facilitation.
Applicants must reside in Newfoundland & Labrador.
