Audiences can enjoy three nights of FREE readings of new Canadian plays at the Port Stanley Festival Theatre as part of their Simon Joynes Playwrights’ Festival! Following a single day of rehearsal, the plays will be presented as public readings followed by question/answer sessions with the playwrights and invited audience feedback, hosted by Artistic Director Liz Gilroy. The plays are as follows:

September 17 at 7:30pm – Now The Bells Ring by Lindsay Kyte. Music by Rita MacNeil.

September 18 7:30pm – Martha Rules (working title) by John Spurway.

September 19 7:30pm – Hen Party! by Jody Stevens McCluskey.
