Tom began his theatrical career as an actor in Europe at the age of nine and he recently retired from teaching theatre after 43 years. He is still involved in all facets of community and professional theatre, while continuing to work as an actor in television and film.

Tom is a member of ACTRA and EQUITY. He has nine published plays and a book of monologues with selections from his own plays. His plays have been described as edgy, poignant, and honest, while also being educational and entertaining. Some of his works have been produced around the world and productions of his shows have garnered many awards/recognition in Canada and the United States.
