Rob Riendeau

Rob Riendeau has been involved with theatre (both on stage and off) since the early 1980s. In 2019, he formed “Humm Team Productions” with his partner Kris Riendeau, and together they wrote and directed their first full-length musical comedy, “Who Stole Christmas from Mississippi Mills?” In 2020, he turned his attention to shortform comedies and has since written and produced several short plays and sketches. He taught a series of Zoom sketch-writing workshops entitled “Sketch 101”, and orchestrated a virtual sketch fundraiser called “Spider Webinar” for three local bricks-and-mortar theatres while they were closed during the pandemic. In 2021-22, Humm Team produced “Sketchy Santa — Holiday Shorts”, an evening of entertainment that featured sketches. In 2023-24, Rob wrote the script for his first original musical, “The Wizard is… Odd!?”, for which he also co-wrote several songs.
