Lawrie Carruthers is an actor/writer based in Toronto. Her first short play COSMO GIRLS was recently selected for performance in the New Ideas Festival 2025 at the Alumnae Theatre in Toronto. Her first full-length play MAYA AND ROAN will premier at the Red Sandcastle Theatre in Toronto in May 2026. Her passion is telling women’s stories and exploring family dynamics.
