Heather is a Takatonto based artist with mixed settler and First Nations ancestry (Scottish, French and Mi’kMaq). She is a playwright, screenwriter, theatre creator, actor, director, and theatrical and therapeutic clown. Heather is also Co-Artistic Director of U.N.I.T. Productions, and “Morro” of the Dora Award and Canadian Comedy Award winning clown duo Morro and Jasp.
As a playwright she has worked with many companies including U.N.I.T. Productions, Theatre Gargantua, Factory Theatre, Native Earth and Mixed Company Theatre. Her work spans from theatre shows to features and short films, from video games (Unscripted – Official selection of Different Games) to an award winning cookbook (Eat Your Heart Out Published by Tightrope Books).
Heather is also an educator and works with both kids and adults to perform and create theatre, often ensemble based.
