| Tilly is a playwright, composer, and lyricist based in Calgary. His theatrical works include Bingo Ladies (which premiered at Lunchbox Theatre in Calgary and went on to five full-length productions nationally), The Christian Republican Fundraiser… (Winner: Toronto Best of Fringe, TIFT), A Jew, a Muslim, a Christian, and an Atheist, Stuck in a Room (finalist for Best New Musical by the Playwrights Guild of Canada), as well as musicals for Smile Theatre, Neptune Theatre’s YpCo, and Rising Tide Theatre. Tilly has also worked extensively as an actor, including two years with the Canadian national company of Jersey Boys and ten summers with Rising Tide Theatre in Trinity, NL (where he also served as arranger and music director). Tilly recently completed his MFA in Playwrighting at the University of Calgary and continues to work in Alberta as a writer and actor. |
