Christopher is a playwright, actor and director and the artistic director of the Toronto-based theatre company Human Cargo. His most recent play The Ghosts of Mariupol is inspired by actors who survived the 2022 Mariupol Theatre bombing. Created in Ukraine in collaboration with the Mariupol Theatre, it will premiere at Crow’s Theatre in April/2027. Other credits include the Dora Award winning The Runner (Human Cargo/Theatre Passe Muraille), Our Beautiful Sons (Blyth Festival), The Road to Paradise (with Jonathan Garfinkel – Human Cargo/Crow’s Theatre) and Night (Human Cargo/NAC).
