Anna Burkholder

Anna Burkholder is a neurodiverse theatre creator and performer based in Tiohtià:ke (Montréal), originally from Northern British Columbia. Caravan is her debut play, drawing inspiration from her passion for physical theatre, alongside her historical research and interviews with the original Caravaners.
Anna graduated from East 15 Acting School in England. Over the past 12 years, she has performed at The National Theatre and Southwark Playhouse, as well as several seasons at The Classic Theatre Festival. In addition to her stage work, she has appeared in films and television shows, lent her voice to video games and performed in audio dramas. She currently works and supports Geordie Theatre’s mission to nurture young audiences and drive sector change.
