Carol Cece Anderson is a writer/actor, born and raised in Montreal. As an actor, Carol has worked in theatre, film, television, and radio. As a writer, Carol’s been a member of Tarragon’s Playwrights Unit, and playwright-in-residence at both Theatre Passe Muraille, and the National Arts Centre. She’s had original radio plays produced by the CBC including: That Lonely Space In Between; and the award winning Stormbound. Carol’s play, After All, was produced by b current’s rock.paper.sistahz festival, and published in Canadian Theatre Review. Carol is also published in Tellin’ It Like It Is: A Compendium Of African Canadian Monologues For Actors, and Snappy Shorts at Tarragon. The Black Theatre Workshop in Montreal produced her play, Swan Song of Maria. A graduate of Marianopolis College, Concordia University, and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Carol currently resides in Toronto.
