Black Theatre Workshop’s CLUB ZED is a professional development forward playwrights’ festival being hosted in Montreal from May 14-17th, 2025.

Club Zed 2025 will include low-stakes presentation forums, professional development workshops, and discussions with distinguished artists, including Djanet Sears, Maguy Mettelus, Donna-Michelle St. Bernard, Diane Roberts, Marcia Johnson, d’bi.young anitafrika, and more. All programming is delivered through a diasporic Black lens, yet open to all in the performing arts community.
