PGC members have been paired up with an international playwright to share their work and discuss the craft of playwriting with one another. You can tune into these live events and get a glimpse of what these theatre creators have been up to!

About the Playwrights:

Hannah Foulger is a British Canadian writer and theatre artist. Born in Amsterdam, she was raised in Cambridge, Ontario in a Christian theatre school which previously housed a reformatory school. She has a BA in English and Theatre from the University of Winnipeg, and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Guelph. She lives and writes with a brain injury in Toronto.

Laura Madsen is a playwright, stage director and scriptwriter with 19 years of experience in developing ideas and creating scripts and stories for both theatre and film. She is educated at the Danish Playwright Greenhouse – with focus on children’s theatre. And a graduate from the independent film school Super 16. She works as a freelancer for different theatres all over Denmark, and often with site-specific stories. She has written the award-winning animation film Hund I himlen and is currently in development with a story for very young audiences. Laura is a board member of Assitej DK and also work on internationally in performing arts – lates in collaboration with a dancer from Amman, Jordan and have a future project in development with an Italian stage director living in Ireland.
