World Premiere of The Tao of the World

The Stratford Festival unveiled their 2026 Season, the final season for Artistic Director Antoni Cimolino.

The lineup includes the world premiere of The Tao of the World by PGC member Jovanni Sy (who will also direct).

The Tao of the World (which received the PGC Comedy Award at the 2022 Tom Hendry Awards) will open in August 2026 at the Tom Patterson Theatre. It will mark Sy’s return to the Festival after the 2024 success of Salesman in China, a play he directed and co-wrote with fellow PGC member Leanna Brodie.
