Rethinking Good Intentions
The solo, story-telling play “Rethinking Good Intentions”, written and performed by Nancy Edwards, premiered at five fringe festivals last summer. Nancy is thrilled to announce that she will be performing her play on June 3rd at the Canadian Association of African Studies Conference in Scarborough and between August 20th and 31st at the Victoria Fringe Festival in British Columbia. The play is largely based on Nancy’s memoir about working as a community health nurse in Sierra Leone, West Africa in the 1970s and 1980s. Her heart-felt village stories make audiences laugh and cry. The play is full of humanity.
