Ciarán Myers is privileged with an MFA in Script Writing from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and his plays have been performed in England, Scotland, Canada and the United States. He was the first creator-in-residence at Kitchener’s Green Light Arts Theatre where much of his writing has been staged in the past. Ciarán is also an alumnus of the Stratford Festival’s Playwrights Retreat, a member of Director’s Lab North, and successfully completed a Metcalf Internship specializing in Artistic Leadership at The Theatre Centre in Toronto. His writing has received five stars at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and had an extended run in Kitchener Ontario. Ciarán has an expanded arts practice beyond playwriting and has also toured significantly as a dancer and published multiple works of poetry, complimenting other disciplines within theatre as well. He currently lives in Kitchener Ontario with his small family.
