J.L. Allen

J.L. Allen first came to Earth, scientists believe, on an asteroid that collided with our planet several million years ago. Since then, he has evolved into a sentient being capable of questioning his own existence and the reality that surrounds him. To help cope with this terrifying situation, he began writing plays. “Irreconcilable Differences was his first, debuting as part of the Theatre Arts Guild’s Playwrights Festival in 2015. Other notable contributions include “Some Guy from the Internet” and “Octogenarians of Anarchy”, which have been staged in various venues including the Halifax Fringe Festival. He currently resides in Montreal where he regularly mispronounces French words.
