Beth Graham is a playwright and an actor. She was born in Nova Scotia, grew up in Cochrane, Alberta, and currently lives in Edmonton. Her plays and collaborations have been produced across the country and internationally. In 2015, The Gravitational Pull of Bernice Trimble was shortlisted for The Governor General’s Award and received the Gwen Pharis Ringwood Award. Other plays and collaborations include Pretty Goblins (published by Playwrights Canada Press), The Drowning Girls (shortlisted for the Carol Bolt Award), Mermaid Legs (Sterling Award for Outstanding Play) and Weasel. Beth has been the Lee Playwright-in-Residence at the University of Alberta as well as the Dramaturg-in-Residence at Workshop West Playwrights’ Theatre. She is a graduate of the University of Alberta’s BFA acting program.
