Doug Rutherford is a Whitehorse playwright, actor, musician, and artist. His plays include The Last President of Canada, about Paul Chartier’s attempt to bomb the House of Commons in 1966, And, On the Second Day…, about a school shooting from the shooter’s perspective, and Fracture Zone, looking at the aftermath of a major earthquake off the coast of Vancouver Island.
Doug Rutherford is also a watercolour landscape painter, with paintings hanging in 9 provinces and 2 territories, the US, Europe, and Asia.
