Elizabeth Dancoes, playwright, actor and dramaturge. Her plays include Paradise & the Wasteland, Criminal and Dancing in the Garden Like Momma. She was dramaturge of Kevin Kerr’s Governor General’s award-winning play, Unity. Dancoes is a long-time collaborator with Kokoro Dance in an attempt to create a vocabulary where text and movement are interdependent. Their projects include Esse, The Betrothal, Sade and F. She was a winner of the Whistler Film Festival/Praxis Screenwriters competition and wrote Time Tremors, finalist for an International Emmy and a Writers Guild of Canada Screenwriting Award.
