PGC Member Interviewed on CBC Radio’s Fresh Air

PGC member Victoria Sullivan was featured on CBC Radio’s Fresh Air on July 19, 2025 in an interview discussing her latest play, Minimum, premiering now at the Hamilton Fringe Festival.

Minimum is an outrageous comedy about the newly-elected Ontario Premier who must live on minimum wage. Complicated by his ex-wife’s rage at learning what her alimony payments will be, the Premier, with the aid of his aide, must adjust from a six-figure government salary to $35,776 – his previous annual budget for suits and ties. No longer able to afford Toronto, the Premier commutes from Hamilton on the lowest form of human innovation – public transit.

The 75 minute comedy is on now at The Player’s Guild of Hamilton (one of North America’s oldest continually-running theatres, est. 1875) on Thursday July 24 at 5:45pm | Saturday July 26 at 8:30pm | Sunday July 27 at 1:45pm.
