Member Wins Prize in Play Competition

Ron Davies’ 10-minute play The Force of Attraction has won second prize in the 2026 US national Science Play Competition sponsored by the Simon Center for Geometry and Physics at Stonybrook University. Steve Marsh, the Director of Graduate Studies in the Stony Brook Theatre Arts program, wrote “The Force of Attraction is a beautiful play that blends humanity and scientific thinking in a way that allows the scientist and the humanist in us a unique way of looking at the metaphor of gravity.”
