The 2026 Gros Morne Playwrights’ Residency – DEADLINE: 2026/04/20

Playwrights' Workshop Montréal is now accepting applications for this year’s Gros Morne Playwrights' Residency! This year marks the 10th anniversary of this exceptional residency program!

As the only co-lingual playwrights’ Residency in Canada, from October 15 - 26, 2026, the Gros Morne Playwrights’ Residency will bring together seven playwrights working in French or English from across the country to Norris Point, Newfoundland and Labrador, to dive deeply into the creation process. Don’t miss your opportunity to work alongside a national network of playwrights, receive one-on-one dramaturgy, and break ground on your script to bring new work to the surface.

The Gros Morne Playwrights’ Residency provides transportation, accommodation, meals, an honorarium, and dramaturgical support.
