New Website

PGC is pleased to have been working with Vincent Design (Winnipeg, MB) in creating our new site.  Under their direction, we have worked hard to consider elements from a design, user and SEO perspective. With a small team at PGC and many other projects on the go, it has taken us a while to collect all the elements for this new site, which will continue to be updated post-launch. 

What’s new? Playwright profiles which feature our full and estate members, a strong link to the Canadian Play Outlet, a members-only area, and a great way to feature dynamic content through News Posts, Events and Opportunities. The biggest changes are exciting to the PGC team, the technical and administrative elements that no one else will notice, yet Vincent Design has done their best to address the issues that have cost us time (and grey hairs) related to the outgoing site. 

Continued improvements! Now that the new site is live and has been handed to the PGC team, we have things to update and input.  It is a work-in-progress and we appreciate your patience as we do this work and balance it with our other commitments.  We will add intake forms that allow members to provide us with new or updated information, so be assured it will all happen due course. 

Old vs new. PGC is pleased to be able to offer a private area FULL of resources for members.  Some will notice it is a different entry method than before, so we encourage you to check your email for a message from the Executive Director with information on how to access the Member Dashboard.  We encourage you to save it and note that the password will change on a rotating basis.  A form will be created if you need to request access, however please note it will only be monitored during PGC staff hours. 

AND, we encourage you to check out our posts on the Events and Opportunities listings.  These will be community-driven and we can’t wait to share information about Canadian plays and playwrights happening across the country and beyond!
