Guillermo Verdecchia

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and known for his collaborative practice (with Daniel Brooks, Soheil Parsa, Marcus Youssef, and Adam Lazarus), Guillermo is a writer of drama, fiction, and film; a director, dramaturge, and translator. His work has been published, anthologized, seen, and heard on stages, pages, screens, and in audio formats across the country and around the globe.
The author, or co-author, of, among other works, Feast, Versus (with Adam Lazarus), Our Heart Learns, Fronteras Americanas, The Adventures of Ali & Ali and the aXes of Evil (with Marcus Youssef and Camyar Chai); The Noam Chomsky Lectures and Insomnia (with Daniel Brooks), and A Line in the Sand (with Marcus Youssef), he is a recipient of the Governor General’s Award for Drama, a four-time winner of the Chalmers Canadian Play Award, a recipient of Dora and Jessie Awards, and sundry international film festival awards.
