Robert Plowman
Robert Plowman is a playwright, collaborative theatre artist, and teacher. His work has been presented across Canada and the United States. His plays include Radium City and welcome to the tree museum; his intermedia work includes the guided tour the common: for as long as you have so far and the audio installation folkloremobile (both co-created with Secret Theatre). Robert’s play Radium City (a collaboration with Zuppa Theatre) is published in the New Canadian Drama anthology series (Volume 9: Canadian Devised Theatre), and his critical writing appears in Theatre Research in Canada and Critical Perspective on Canadian Theatre in English. His work has been developed with the support of MacDowell, Millay Arts, the Playwrights Theatre Centre, the Djerassi Resident Artists Program, and the Great Plains Theatre Conference. He was the recipient of the 2014 Charles M. Getchell New Play Award. Robert currently lives in Hamilton, Ontario.
