Nicolle Nattrass
Nicolle Nattrass is currently based on Vancouver Island and is grateful to live, work and create on the unceded territory of the Snaw’naw’as Mustimuxw people.
She is a professional actor, playwright, dramaturge and director who served as PGC National Forum Representative as well as Deputy Chair from 2015-2019 to support PGC’s Women Caucus.
She is keenly interested in Dramaturgy, advocacy for mental wellness & care in theatre artists and was nominated for PGC’s “Bra D’Or Award” in 2021 for her support of new plays.
Her first play, a one woman play, Brownie Points (Boldly going where no Brownie has gone before) earned nominations for “Outstanding New Play” and “Outstanding Performance” at the Jessie Richardson Theatre Awards and was adapted into a short film that won Best Comedy at the Magnolia Film Festival.
Her plays have received professional productions, both in Canada, US and Mexico.
