Bruce is a Winnipeg Playwright. He has worked in theatre for forty five years and written twenty plays. He served as Artistic Director of a small theatre company and was playwright in residence at Manitoba Theatre Centre, Prairie Theatre Exchange, the Manitoba Association of Playwrights, the University of Winnipeg and the Winnipeg Public Library. He has taught playwriting extensively and worked as a dramaturge on many productions. Selkirk Avenue was nominated for a Governors General Award in drama. Most recently his adaptation Three Sisters was produced at the Birmingham Academy at Stratford.
