Michael Grant

Michael’s work has been produced over forty times across Canada. Born in Listowel ON, he studied theatre at Humber College and now resides in Elmira ON. His play Shorthanded won the inaugural Tom Hendry Comedy Award in 2012. His plays Hamish and Bare Bear Bones were both published by PCP. In 2017 he was commissioned to write a female version of Shorthanded (A Ladies Game) as part of a sesquicentennial celebration. Other works include Suburban Standoff, Forever Love and The Delicate Art of Advancing the Ball. Born and raised in a small town, most of Michael’s work is set in the same fictional small town.
