Audrey Dwyer

Audrey Dwyer is a multi-disciplinary artist with over twenty years of experience as an actor, director, playwright, teacher, artistic director, dramaturge, facilitator, and mentor. As a playwright, her works include Calpurnia and Come Home – The Legend of Daddy Hall. As a librettist, her work includes Backstage at Carnegie Hall. She was approached to be a co-writer on The D Cut, a six-episode series produced by Shaftesbury Films. The D Cut can be found on Crave (Canada) and on Shaftesbury’s KindaTV Youtube channel. She was commissioned by Nightswimming Theatre to write The Generations. This piece is an epic drama told through story, song, and dance. It is about the global legacy of a Black family over thousands of years. Audrey graduated from the National Theatre School of Canada and was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
