Madeleine Dahlem

Madeleine Dahlem is a bilingual playwright from Saskatchewan. La Troupe du Jour, Saskatchewan’s only professional French language theatre produced: Foyer (Almost Home) in 2005, Les vieux péteux (Old Farts) in 2008 and La Maculée (sTain) in 2011. In 2012, La Maculée received a SATA (Saskatoon and Area Theatre Awards) for Exceptional Playwrighting; it was invited to WPIC in Stockholm, Sweden and was showcased in Ottawa at Zones théâtral, a Festival of New Plays. In 2022, she recently directed Halfbreed by Maria Campbell as French audio book. During the theatre season of 2023-2024, she had a commissioned play, C’est à nous d’y voir, produced by La Troupe du Jour and The Art of French Cooking produced by 25th Street theatre of Saskatoon.
