Alison Crosby (she/her) is a theatre artist originally from Unama’ki / Cape Breton Island and currently based in Kjipuktuk / Halifax. She works as a lighting designer, stage manager, and playwright. Her play In Lieu of Flowers was produced as part of Neptune Theatre’s 60th season in partnership with the Highland Arts Theatre. She has participated in the Playwrights Atlantic Resource Centre’s annual retreat three times: once as a student with a series of short played titled As If You Were Normal, once in 2020 with In Lieu of Flowers, and in 2025 with her new script Irrelevant.
