Trish Cooper

Trish Cooper’s first full-length play, Social Studies, was developed and produced at Prairie Theatre Exchange in 2013, had a second production at the Centaur Theatre in Montreal and a third production in Vancouver at the Firehall Theatre. Social Studies was published in 2017 and won the Chris Johnson award for Best Manitoba play.
Trish co-wrote the play The Comeback with her partner Sam Vint, which just had its world premiere at the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre.
In the last five years, Trish has also worked as a dramaturg, working with the Royal MTC, Echo Theatre and Sick and Twisted Theatre. Most recently, Trish was dramaturg and director for Mix Tapes from My Mom, which was featured on the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre’s regional tour and will be directing Mix Tapes again in next year’s Royal MTC season.
