1000 Monkeys Project – DEADLINE: 2025/07/06

Submissions are now open for the 2025 1000 MONKEYS PROJECT.

The 1000 MONKEYS PROJECT (presented in association with the Calgary Fringe Festival) is an open competition for Calgary and area playwrights to submit a new 10-minute play.

Submissions will be accepted until July 6, 2025. The submissions will be read, and 5 plays will be selected for a public staged reading at the Calgary Fringe Festival. Selected writers will be paid $150 for their work.
