Creator Exchange

The purpose of Creator Exchanges is to encourage networking opportunities with other theatre practitioners and to forge new working relationships.They are an opportunity for playwrights to talk briefly about what kind of work inspires them and how they like to collaborate artistically.

In the past, PGC has run exchanges for 

  • Directors and Playwrights
  • Designers and Playwrights
  • Dramaturgs and Playwrights
  • Composers and Playwrights
  • Community Theatres and Playwrights

These exchanges have been held online and in person, in cities across Canada, such as Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, London, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Halifax. The format is open and flexible to best suit the groups involved. 

PGC support can be offered in a variety of ways:

  • Financial support to engage facilitators (if budget allows)
  • Outreach to participants, organizations
  • Marketing
  • Registration
  • Process payments (if applicable)
  • Logistics support
  • Online platforms
  • PGC staff to assist “at” the event
