Meghan Gardiner

Meghan is an actor and playwright currently living in Vancouver, BC. She has written nine professionally produced plays, including Dissolve, her one woman show that continues to tour after twenty years. The success of that play led to a CBC-funded documentary, for which Meghan was nominated for best screenwriting at the Leo Awards in 2010. Her short film Stalled visited 64 film festivals in 2012 and led to nominations for both screenwriting and performance at the 2013 Leo Awards. She is currently working on play commissions for the Arts Club Theatre Company and Carousel Theatre. Meghan was nominated for the YWCA Women of Distinction Awards in 2011 for her body of work and received the Sydney Risk Award for Emerging playwright at the 2012 Jessie Richardson Theatre Awards. In addition to being seen on stages across the country, Meghan is active in Vancouver’s thriving film and television scene.
