Nelles Van Loon

Nelles Van Loon was born in Hamilton On, Sept 16, 1939. He has a PhD from The University of Toronto. His play Babe Ruth Comes to Pickle River has been produced in numerous community theatres across Canada. Several of his musicals for children have been produced in theatres in Toronto and Nova Scotia. A Little Bird Told Me received an Ontario Arts Council grant in 1987.
Once Upon a Hot Dog, a spin on the Faust legend, was part of the Canadian Music Theatre festival at Todmorden Mills in 2007. He holds himself to a high standard. A reading of any of his submissions will verify this.
