Freshwater Theatre submissions – Ongoing

Freshwater Theatre prides itself on constantly working with new artists, expanding our family. We’re always on the lookout for new scripts and new technical artists to work with.

Please note thattheir mission statement prioritizes the Great Lakes and Plains area of the U.S. and Canada, so shows by writers outside that region or set outside that region will not be considered.

While they certainly are interested in world premieres of new plays, they also are very interested in second and third productions of new works, as we believe this to be the key to finding the works that will propel theatre into the future.

They will only respond to playwright submissions for plays that come into serious consideration for future production.
