Toronto-born Rick Jones is a performing artist, writer. composer, choreographer and sound designer. He won the Adams Prize for best new script of a musical at the Toronto Fringe Festival for his musical Seeking Refuge, and his other Fringe shows, Millennium Madness Sale and Life in the Raw both received critical acclaim. His works deal with social issues providing insights into the human nature of the disenfranchised. He has 2 new works in search of production written during Covid times, The Legend of Louis Pasteur, about the famous scientist and his research towards a laboratory-created vaccine, and Fortinbras Academy, a look at a high school choir that brings the whole school together while in search of new members. Rick is a graduate of York University Dance program.
