Tory Doctor

Tory Doctor (he/him) is an accomplished writer having written four musicals and a number of plays with his writing partners, Melody McClellan, Dave Zabriskie and Nico Rhodes. In his works, Tory challenges typical theatre constructs, bringing fantasy productions to the stage. He has created the fictional world of Arlyrus—drawing inspiration from Dungeons & Dragons and other fantasy franchises—where the majority of his works take place.

Tory Doctor’s performing career spans almost 30 years in over 60 productions throughout 40 countries. Tory has been teaching acting, musical theatre, private lessons and specialized workshops for the past two decades. He has been a guest speaker for numerous colleges and Universities across North America, focusing on bridging the gap between community theatre and the professional world.
